Virtual Advisory Network

Are you interested in contributing your experiences to help others move towards e-learning maturity?

Then join our VIRTUAL ADVISORY NETWORK

This project relies on a broad VIRTUAL group of interested organisations and individuals who are keen to share their experiences of e-learning in the workplace. We welcome members of the Virtual Advisory Network from all workplace e-learning backgrounds including:

  • Employers across all sectors currently using e-learning to build skills
  • Commercial e-learning providers, independent e-learning consultants and LSC funded work based learning providers with proven experience in using technology assisted learning to impacting business performance
  • Members of the Skills for Business Network
  • Regional stakeholders
  • Other employer organisations

Benefits of Involvement:

As a result of contributing to this group, virtual advisory members will be provided with a number of benefits including

  • Succinct and regular updates on government initiatives which will impact work based e-learning
  • Opportunity to contribute to debate and influence change
  • Regular updates on the development of the Towards Maturity model, together with the opportunity to feedback
  • Opportunities to identify potential collaborations that will further the workplace learning agenda

What can you contribute?

We recognize members time constraints by asking members to actively commit to the group through their day to day activities. Contributions may include:

  • regularly taking part in our mini polls
  • provide regular news updates from their organisations on relevant activities
  • contribute to research into local, regional and sectoral activities and identification of areas of best practice by
    • highlighting any relevant research or evidence that may be helpful from both private and public sources.
    • highlighting or suggesting potential case studies;
    • commenting on research reports and their implications.
  • promote and participate in dissemination activities and events and promote e-learning in the workplace within their wider networks
